- The following activities of the Policy Document 2012 were undertaken.
- Harlem Renaissance Correspondance Project
The director visited four collections in England from 11-21 July. In London the Manuscript Collection of the British Library for the Bax Clifford letters to the Royal Society of Literature 1916-1948. In Cambridge the Cambridge University Library for the Project Muse Journals. In the University of York the Dyson Collection; Eliot Collection records of military agencies relation to African-Americans from the Post War I period compiled by Lisha B. Penn. In Hull the Brynmor Jones Library of the University of Hull, Larkin Estate Archive.
- Library
Some 50 volumes were acquired on 20th and 21st century American and English literature, contemporary literary criticism and reference books.
- Courses
The eight courses of the 2015-2016 season were prepared texts by Tom Wolfe, The Bonfire of the Vanities, Art Spiegelman, Maus: A Survivor’s Tale, Saul Bellow, Herzog, Marilynne Robinson, Gilead, Ha Jin, Waiting, Bruce Chatwin, Utz and Richard Ford, Independence Day. The lectures were given in Amsterdam (2 groups), The Hague (2 ) and Brussels (1). The number of fee-paying students in September was 69.
- Summerschool
Three workshops were organised this year.
26-28 June: The Gothic Novel, Dracula by Bram Stoker and The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides for 10 participants.
24-26 July: Winnie-the-Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner by A.A. Milne for 10 participants.
28-30 August: Humour in Literature, The Code of the Woosters by P.G. Wodehouse and The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion for 10 participants.
They were chaired by Dr. Wim Tigges, professor of English at the University Leiden.
- Symposium
A symposium was organised on The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe on Halloween, 31 October, by Dr. Wim Tigges for 50 participants.
- The nineteenth annual meeting of the Board of the Eleonora Stichting was held at the offices of the Stichting in The Hague on September 7th at 16.00 hrs.
- Financial report. The policy is to support the activities of the Foundation as long as funds are available. The Operating account results in minus € 889. The total assets of the foundation add up to minus € 104,507. The Balance sheet totalises to € 23,371. A short-term loan of € 127,378 is outstanding to Dr. E.M. van Notten.

- The Board whishes to recognise the commitment to the Stichting by Mr & Mrs W.F.J. van Notten for their annual contribution of € 4,000.
- The IRS (Belastingdienst) acknowledged the mission of the Eleonora Stichting and gave it the designation of a charitable fondation (Algemeen Nut Beogende Insteling) as of January 1st 2008.
